OREM/EAST CARBON-Barbara Jensen Naylor, our beautiful, loving, hard working mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, returned home to her Heavenly Father on August 11, 2017. Barbara was born November 3, 1933 in Lawrence, Utah to Wallace Glen Jensen and Eliza Lucille Staker. Barbara was the 2nd of seven children in her family. She spent her early years growing up in Emery County.
Barbara moved with her family to Sunnyside, Utah where she met her eternal companion of 65 years. Barbara married John Levell Naylor, August 29, 1952 in the Salt Lake Temple. From this union came her greatest joy. Barbara and John had 8 children, 28 grandchildren and 72 great grandchildren. She remembered each and every one of their names, birthdays and special events. She tried to attend as many of the special events as she could.
Even with her busy life and raising her children, Barbara was known as the “Best Tupperware Lady”. Barbara received many many awards throughout her 50 years of selling Tupperware. She gained many special friends and enjoyed meeting new people and traveling to the many exciting places she went with her husband. She loved to travel and was always ready to go whenever anyone said come on lets go.
Barbara was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, and had a strong testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel which she would share with everyone.
She is survived by husband, John, her seven children: Barbara (Paul) Robinett, Debbie (Vallyn) Bernard, JoAnn Glass, Johnny (Susan) Naylor, Jimmy (Larine) Naylor, Mike (Tammy) Naylor, Michelle (Jim) Gilbert, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brothers, Lyman Jensen, Stan (June) Jensen, sisters, Glenda Jensen, Jean McLellan, Janice (John) Gute; sisters- in-law, Valene Jensen and Barbara Moon
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Wallace and Lucille Jensen, in-laws, John and Margaret Naylor, sisters-in-law, Jeannie Hess, Marianne Jensen and Earlene Jensen, brothers, Larry Jensen and Allen Jensen, son, Robert Naylor, sons-in-law, Jason Glass and Sylas Soules, grandsons, Joseph Levell Robinett, Joshua Naylor, Cody Sherman; great-granddaughter Aiden Martin.
Funeral service, Wednesday, August 16, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at the Sharon Stake Center, 545 S. 800 E. in Orem, Utah where the family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the stake center. Graveside service will be at the Valley View Cemetery in Sunnyside, Utah at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
