“Embracing your inner child” was the theme of Helper’s Aug. 4 First Friday. This event takes place the first Friday of each month on Main Street in Helper. Entertainment, shopping and gallery strolls start at 6 p.m. and continue all evening. This month featured a treasure hunt, live music, farmers market, chalk art competition, silhouette photo booth, an outdoor movie and more.
