Tortoise Xing

Brad Bentley, a resident of Helper, was driving on his way into town Sunday morning around 10:30.
Himself and other motorists were forced to stop at 100 North and 100 West intersection for a spurred tortoise crossing the street. He snapped this quick photo before the tortoise made it across safely.
Price City was notified about the tortoise xing and safely returned the tortoise to its owner.
This is not the first time we have seen this tortoise escaping. Last year in October, Price Police Department was called out on what we have called a “slow-speed chase.”
