Details on services for Kristy Manzanares

The family of Kristy Hunt Manzanares has requested privacy at and around the funeral services scheduled for St. George, Price and East Carbon this week.
The story of her death aboard a cruise ship, and the subsequent arrest of her husband Kenneth Manzanares on a murder charge, has been reported by news outlets around the world.
The family issued a statement dated Aug. 1 that asks that guests at the services are not approached by media for interviews or comments. No cameras or recording devices will be allowed inside or at any of the services. The Sun Advocate will honor those requests.
Funeral service in Price will be held at 11 a.m. Sat., Aug. 5 at the Carbon County Event Center. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday morning two hours prior to service. Burial will be at the East Carbon Cemetery.
The family statement expresses gratitude to the public, especially the Washington and Carbon County communities, “for their continued support during this difficult time.”
