Virgil Engvall

PRICE- Virgil Jon Engvall, age 78, passed away July 21, 2017 at Utah Valley Regional Hospital in Provo.
He was born July 26, 1938 in Rockland, California, one of thirteen children born to Joseph and Myrtle Grant Engvall.
Married Bonnie Mael, later divorced. Married Gwen Rae Brasher Thorsen September 10, 1973 in Elko, Nevada. She passed away February 14, 2006.
Virgil enjoyed working on cars, scavenger hunts, fishing, camping, BBQ’s with friends and family. He loved stock car racing, his family and a good can of spray paint. His favorite thing to paint was his vehicles.
Survived by his children, Joseph “Joe” Engvall, Price, DeAnne (Dale) Ashton, Lehi, Becky (Larry) Fox, Orem, Jolene (Larry) Jahn, Price, Karla (Burk) Terry, Santaquin, Sherri Thorsen, Price; brother, Lloyd Engvall, California; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife, Gwen; parents, Joseph and Myrtle Grant Engvall; son, Rocky Thorson; daughters, Karen Seevers and Neesha Lee; granddaughter, Brianna Blackham; great granddaughter, KateLynn Sanderson.
Funeral service, Thursday, July 27, 2017, 2:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at Mitchell’s Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to service.
