The annual Greek Festival once again was the highlight of weekend activities in Carbon County. The event is the major fund-raiser for the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Price. Visitors had an opportunity to sample a buffet of Greek cuisine and enjoy performances by folk dancers and live musical entertainment while they dined. Father Seraphim Johns also conducted tours of the church, which features a gallery of iconography.
The festival has traditionally involved ecumenical support from the community, whose members turn out not only to dine, but to work the serving lines and donate.
