The speaker for the general BEAR meeting on July 6 is Dr. Gary Straquadine, the Vice Chancellor at USU Eastern. He will discuss strategies businesses can use to succeed.
In particular he will be discussing the SOAR program (strengths, opportunities, aspirations, results). A SOAR analysis is a strategic planning tool that focuses an organization on its current strengths and vision of the future for developing its strategic goals. This tool differs from the commonly used SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis.
The presentation will take place at the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center Alumni Room and it is free. Light refreshments will be served.
