The State Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a house in Wellington. The residents were not at home when the fire broke out Tuesday night.
Amanda Rodriguez and Tanner Hill went on an errand at about 10:30 p.m. and when they came back, the house was in flames. Hill said there were three dogs in the home, “and none of them made it out, but the cat did.”
The home and contents were completely destroyed. Rodriguez added, “I would advise everybody to get renter’s insurance.”
The couple has set up a Go Fund Me account, GF.ME/U/492GY. There has also been an account set up at the Utah Power Credit Union.
