HUNTINGTON – Jeffrey Lynn Brower, 62, returned to his loving Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah from injuries due to a tragic car accident. He was born November 11, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William Ortell and Colleen Brinkerhoff Brower. He married the love of his life, his sweetheart Lisa Marie Pyne on December 28, 1988 in Salt Lake City, Utah, later solemnized in the Logan temple.
He grew up in Kearns, Utah and graduated from Kearns High. He worked for Kennecott, construction, accounting and plumbing. He then went back to school for Hydrology. He loved his family very much, and he loved spending time with his beautiful wife. He loved camping, water, the desert, the mountains, trains and Mickey Mouse. He was a diehard Ford fan. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings including the bishopric, he was currently serving alongside his wife as a service missionary for the Castle Dale Storage Center. He loved the gospel, his scriptures and he loved to study them. He loved sharing his love of the gospel with everyone he met. He enjoyed having conversations about everything with anyone who could take the time to chat. He is a wonderful teacher and has loads of knowledge to share. He loved life and was always heard laughing and joking with his family and friends, he knew just how to bring a smile to everyone’s face. He will be greatly missed but we will see him again.
He is survived by his loving wife Lisa ‘Eggbert’, his children; Debi Brower (Cris), Pete (Angela) Brower, Derek (Allison) Brower, Nathan (Scottee) Brower, Kaileen (Justice) Pendray, Aaron (Cassandra) Brower, Benjamin Brower and Caleb Brower. 10 grandchildren, mother Colleen McLendon, brothers; David (Robyn) Brower, Mark Brower, Jon (Tina) Brower, sister Billie Brower and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, step father Elmer McLendon, sister Susan Muth, grandchildren; Ivy, Darias, Ethan, Mabel and Hope.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Huntington Stake Center. Viewing will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Huntington Stake Center, also from 9:00-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Private disposition.
The family would like to thank their ward family for fasting and services, the community for all their prayers and help. The nurses and doctors at Utah Valley Hospital for their care.
