Arlene Gale “TC”

PRICE- Arlene Gale, age 79, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 at her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born April 23, 1938 in Helper, Utah to Waldo B. and Mazel Grames Gale.
Arlene graduated from Carbon High School in 1957 and shortly after that she married Ronald K. Jewkes. Together they had 5 children. They spent the first 21 years of their married life traveling with the US Navy before settling in Price, Utah after retirement. They divorced in 1980. Arlene then married Paul Knuckles, later divorced. Then married Jarvis Begay and later divorced.
Arlene loved working in her flower gardens and enjoyed doing many crafts. She loved her cat companions and generously shared her home with them.
Arlene often spent time visiting yard sales, riding her bike, camping and fishing. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with friends and loved ones.
Arlene is survived by her children, Carole (Troy) Davis, Wellington, UT. and Brian (Carie) Jewkes, Helper, UT., siblings, Carol (Gourdin) Olsen, Farmington, UT., Pam (Jeremy) Ryder, Hector, MN., Dwight (Joyce) Gale, Pueblo, CO.; son-in-law, Jeff Young, Helper, UT.; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Terri L. Young; son, Ronald Wayne Jewkes; infant daughter; brother, Dwayne Gale.
Memorial service, Wednesday, June 14, 2017 – 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home, Price, Utah. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the mortuary.
