Max Wheeler, center, and friends get ready to hang a prepped bike frame for painting in Auto Farm’s First Choice Body and Paint shop.

Price Boy Scout Max Wheeler has organized a team effort to restore and donate used bicycles for people who need them.
His Eagle Scout Project has involved not only members of Troop #296, but also a cadre of donors including:
PacifiCorp Hunter Plant donated six bikes;
Spectrum Paint provided the paint;
Auto Farm’s First Choice Body and Paint donated paint and space in its facility for the work;
USU Eastern’s Automotive Shop provided acid dip to remove old paint.
Max is the son of Karen and Jerri Wheeler.
The restored bikes are destined for shipment to Bicycle Collective, a Salt Lake City non-profit organization that will give them to people in need.
