The No Grave Unadorned project is getting close to its goal of 40,000 flowers, but volunteers are still urged to make more or donate materials soon.
Volunteers are also needed to place the flowers on graves in Helper’s cemetery and both cemeteries in Price before Memorial Day.
The community-wide effort to decorate all graves in Carbon and Emery Counties is still believed to be unique in the United States.
No Grave Unadorned began in 2010, and has involved not only the effort in making and placing the flowers, but also in researching the many smaller grave yards needing flowers.
To volunteer, contact Cheryl Young at 435-627-0732.
