WELLINGTON- Our beautiful Doris Louise Miller, 73-years-old, died on Saturday, May 13, 2017 after a valiant two month fight with pneumonia.
At her high school reunion in 1993 she re-met, and married the love of her life, Frank Miller. She and Frank started a fun and successful business in 1999. She was a confident businesswoman who loved working with him to build their company to the success it is today. Doris and Frank retired to Wellington, Utah in 2006.
Doris was born on December 22, 1943 in Paris, Arkansas to Justin J. and Mary Catherine Wald Neumeier, the seventh of ten children. Although we are grieving we are assured she is in heaven joyfully reunited with loved ones who preceded her in death.
She has left us to join her beloved mother and father; brothers, Justin J. Neumeier, James K. Neumeier, and Larry M. Neumeier and her sister, Pat Gorman.
She is survived by her beloved husband, A. Frank Miller, Wellington; daughter and son-in-law, Nikki Louise and Jason Yates of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Christi Toni Morrell of Pahrump, Nevada; four grandchildren, Nathan, Noel, Jacob & Natalie; sisters and brother, Katie Rodosh of Henderson, Nevada, Jerry (Carol) Neumeier of St. George, Utah, Sue Huggins of Henderson, Nevada, Elizabeth (Keith) Justesen of Henderson, Nevada and Peggy (Kent) Lindquist of Moab, Utah; her step-children, Troy and Jan Miller, and their children, Derek, Ben, and Brooke; and Diane Bingham and her children, Ryan, Justin, Austin, Tyler and Sierra.
Doris was known for her ease in frequent conversation with even total strangers. Her zest for life couldn’t be contained so she loved to sing, dance, and perform. She played cards for hours with her grandkids. She possessed a contagious smile and an entertaining sense of humor. Her personality was larger than life and she touched the hearts of many. Her signature gift of joy was shown through her constant smiling, laughter, and joking around. She will be missed but not forgotten. Doris thoroughly enjoyed the love of life.
Funeral service, Thursday, May 18, 2017, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home in Price, Utah where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, Price.
