A standoff between law enforcement officers and a person believed to be armed in a home in northeast Price Wednesday afternoon was apparently resolved without violence at about 3 pm.
The home was on Molyneux near 800 North St.
Witnesses at the scene said students at Castle Heights Elementary a half block east of the incident were held in school until the situation was resolved.
Further details were unavailable at press time, but early unconfirmed reports were that the situation arose from an escalating domestic dispute.
