The Carbon High School softball team defeated Region 12-rival Richfield High School on Tuesday 8-2.

A run in the fifth tied the game, and a run in the sixth gave the Dinos a slight lead, but a five-run seventh inning sealed the game for Carbon.
Dekoda Kraushaar went 3-for-4 at the plate for the Dinos. Cali Fossat and Kelsey Sorenson each went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
