ConocoPhillips announced the presentation of $13,000 in charitable grants to five organizations in Carbon and Emery counties earlier this week. The grants provide support for initiatives that focus on education, health, safety, natural resources and other community investments.
Grant recipients were Pinnacle Canyon Academy, Southeastern Utah Junior Livestock Association, Children’s Justice Center, Price City Fire Department and Utah Division of Wildlife Resources.
“We believe in the power of partnerships in the communities in which we live and operate, and are please to support local organizations that are improving the quality of life in the area,” said Kirk Johnson, Central Rockies Asset Manager. “The grants will support specific projects or purchases that will allow each organization to achieve its mission.”
Each year, ConocoPhillips contributes to the well-being of communities where its employees live and work through charitable giving, employee volunteerism, sponsorships and civic leadership.
