Ivy Valerie Martinez was born on October 13, 2016 and passed away peacefully on March 6, 2017.
Although she was only with us for a short time she gave us so much joy. She came into this world anxiously 3 months early with her sister Ava. Ivy and Ava spent the first 2 months in the hospital where they had much support and visitation from family and friends especially Grandpa Ernie. Ivy had a smile that lit up the room. Ivy was joined at the hip of her big sister Nevaeh and her best friend Kelsey.
Ivy loved spending time with her Nana Leticia and the last day she spent with her was filled with love and smiles. She was loved so dearly by all her siblings. Ivy and her twin Ava were a big surprise to mommy and she was very excited to have her numbers 5 and 6. Mommy loves you Ivy, sweet dreams my sweet baby girl, fly high my beautiful angel, till we meet again, XOXOXO.
Survived by her mother, Cecilia Marie Martinez and brothers Daniel and Angelo; sisters, Nevaeh, Aaliyah, and her twin Ava Marie; grandparents, Ernie (Delfina) Martinez, Leticia Escoto; uncle, Mario (Nicole) Martinez, Austin Escoto; aunt, Jenny (Nick) Bencomo; cousins, Gabriela and Kemila Bencomo; best friend Kelsey Gurule.
Funeral service, Friday, March 10, 2017, 2:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery.
