The Carbon High School girls’ basketball team is preparing for the first round of the 3A State Tournament, which will be played in the Dinos’ home gym against Stansbury High School on Saturday at 6 p.m.
The Dinos finished off the regular season with a win over Juab High School on Thursday. The Dinos defeated the Wasps 53-40, and senior Lindsey Blanc led the team with 17 points. Seniors Cyene Bigelow and Mckenna Sorenson each scored 12 points in the game.
The Dinos finish the regular season 17-3 overall and 7-1 in Region 12 play. Carbon has high hopes of returning to the 3A State Tournament, which will be held at USU Logan.
