The USU Eastern men’s basketball team lost its SWAC game against Snow College on Thursday 80-59.
The Eagles managed just 18 points in the first half, while the Badgers of Snow College tallied 47. The Badgers were able to ease up their pace of play in the second half, with the Eagles outscoring them 41-33 but Snow College still went home with the victory.
The Eagles also lost their game against College of Southern Idaho on Saturday, falling 93-74. The Eagles kept the game close through the first half trailing just 47-42. However, CSI was able to tack on 46 points in the second half, while the Eagles scored 32.
The Eagles fall to 6-16 overall and 1-7 in SWAC play after the losses. USUE will travel to Salt Lake Community College on Thursday for its next match-up.
