The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce Big Business award was presented to East Carbon’s Miner’s Trading Post.
Miners Trading Post will be celebrating their 40th year in business on March 1, 2017. Jimmy Leonard, his daughter Brittnie Leonard Medina and their family have been extremely active in the community!
Miners Trading Post offers catering, custom cakes, and small town best buys for local grocery shopping.
When it comes to supporting local charities, Miners Trading Post is a strong supporting advocate for the community and their children.
This last October they organized their second annual “5Kfor Kait” which was followed by a community Spook Ally.
They also took on a big project to feeds the senior citizens of East Carbon & Sunnyside once a month.
Another annual event is their “Parking Lot Party.” Every year they sponsor this event to support Bruin Point Elementary School and their educational needs. This year the “Parking Lot Party” raised $4,200.00!
The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce is proud and honored to present this award to such an amazing family business in our community!
