Youngsters imitate a hand position of American Sign Language in a workshop at the Helper City Library taught by Taylor Powelson Tuesday.
She’s an interpreter now working with a deaf student at Bruin Point Elementary School. The library’s Kids Workshops will continue for the next four months. Next month’s topic will be art, with local artists as instructors.
