Alice Carol Rae Richardson McKinney Alexander “Carol” (88) died January 5, 2017 in Price, Utah at the home of her daughter. She died from old age in her sleep. Born Dec. 9, 1928 in Wellsville, Utah to William Muir and Clara Collier Richardson. Preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers: Claire Meinzer, Jimmy Richardson, and John Richardson, her 1st husband Ken McKinney, 2nd husband Ronny Alexander, oldest daughter Rynda Christensen, and 2 grandchildren: Valerie Christensen and Karney McKinney.
Carol is survived by 3 daughters, 1 son and son-in-laws: Dari (Norm) Davis, Hollywood, MD, Debbie (Allen) Henrie, Price, UT, Kenna (Johnathan) Onoman Taylorsville, UT; Bruce McKinney, Kanab UT and Pete Christensen, Farmington, NM, 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; also many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Carol loved doing Family History and identified over 30,000 names from both her husbands, who were converts. She was a member of the LDS church and held many positions during her lifetime. Her favorite calling and passion was always Family History. When we were evacuated from Pakistan in 1965 her allotted suitcases were filled with family history. Only hard copies available back then!! Carol was also very talented in sewing, knitting, and crocheting.
The family would like to thank Dr. Potter and his staff, also ALL the many wonderful helpful people at Community Nursing Services and her hospice nurse Susie. You all helped her live a better life this last year! Also all family and friends who helped her- there are too many to name!
A viewing will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 10:30 to 11:30, funeral following at 11:30 at the Price 6th Ward Building, 300 South 500 West in Price, Utah. Services entrusted to Fausett Mortuary.
