Arthur C. Simms (“Art”), 72, Denver, CO. departed the morning of December 30th 2016, after a long and resolute battle with cancer. He passed away in his Denver home beneath the family Christmas tree surrounded by his loved ones. From humble beginnings in the small town of Hiawatha, UT, Art forged a lifelong bond and love for the outdoors and hard work. Art, a well-respected and talented “MAI” Real Estate Appraiser served Denver for over 45 years and into his final days with his own firm Simms & Associates. Those who knew Art regarded him as an extraordinary man with a wonderfully outgoing and charming personality, an amazing father, devoted husband with an enormous heart and brilliant mind. He will be missed profoundly by his wife Cecelia, daughter Amanda, sons Barrett and Adam as well as his brother Ernest, sister Linda and two granddaughters.
