No grave was unadorned

By Sun Advocate

It used to be called Decoration Day, and the tradition of placing flowers on the graves of the departed continues on Memorial Day. With the end of another year’s No Grave Unadorned drive, every grave in every cemetery in Carbon and Emery Counties had at least one flower. Price City Cemetery, pictured, was the largest, but there are small clusters of graves all across the two-counties. Due to the holiday schedule, Memorial Day ceremonies and Carbon High School and Light House graduation and Graduation Spectacular will be in Thursday’s Sun Advocate.
