Terry B. Gibson

HELPER-Terry B. Gibson, age 49, passed away suddenly May 19, 2016 at his home.
He was born August 24, 1966 in American Fork, Utah to Stanley B. and Maurine Rushton Gibson.
Terry was a longtime resident of Helper and a graduate of Carbon High School Class of 1984. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Terry lived for his family and he cherished every moment he spent with them. He loved camping, fishing, hunting and just enjoying the great outdoors with family and friends. Terry loved to tease and he was always ready for a good joke. There was never a dull moment when Terry was around. Terry loved nothing more than making everyone laugh.
Survivors include his daughter, Shantel (Chris) Rummel, Roy; companion of sixteen years, Angie Averett, Helper; granddaughters, Evelyn and Ashlynn; parents, Stan and Maurine Gibson, Helper; brother, Shawn (Nancy) Gibson, Helper; beloved nieces, Shaya and Haylee Gibson; uncle, Clifford (Karen) Gibson, Helper; aunts, Barbara Beason, St. George, Bonnie Wolverton, Spring Creek, NV.
Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tubby & Kay Gibson, LaMar & Lorraine Rushton; uncles, Randy Rushton, Leonard Gibson and Jim Beason; aunt, Mava Farrell; and cousin, Kevin Gibson.
Graveside service, Monday, May 23, 2016, 2:00 p.m., Mountain View Cemetery in Helper.
