Pinnacle Golf shows off at Region 19 Championships

The Pinnacle Canyon Academy girls’ and boys’ golf squads competed in the Region 19 Championships on Monday at the Carbon Country Club. The Lady Panthers finished as Region Champions for the second year in a row. For the girls at Region, Kaysha Dunegan shot a 118, Nikki Borba shot a 120, Kandice Stevensen shot a 123 and Shylinn Lofley shot a 135.
The boys’ team finished in second place in the Region 19 tournament, with Damon Neath leading the team and shooting a 113. Abe Acosta and Liam Bloomer each shot a 118 and Emilio Gonzales shot a 124. Caden Anderson shot a 126 and Tanner Hansen shot a 133 for the Panthers.
Pinnacle will compete at the 1A State Tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday next week at the Soldier Hollow (Silver) Golf Course.
