This week’s Joy Global Athlete of the Week is the Carbon High School Girls’ Basketball team. The Lady Dinos secured the title of Region 12 Champions at the conclusion of their final regular season game, a win against Juab High School Last Thursday.
The Lady Dinos went 7-1 in Region 12 this season and 20-2 overall, which included a 10 game winning streak in the middle of the season.
Carbon will play host to Bear River High School on Friday at 7 p.m. in the first round of the 3A State Tournament.
