Investigators have yet to determine the cause of a fire that destroyed a home at Pilling’s Trailer Court in Carbonville Saturday afternoon.
Price City Fire Chief Paul Bedont said the call came in at 1:23 and emergency personnel arrived on the scene within five minutes to find the structure fully engulfed. He said the fire developed and spread rapidly but the four people in the home got out safely and there were no injuries.
The home was a complete loss, with the dollar amount put at approximately $25,000 to the structure, and $8,000 to the contents.
