Julee Orme Cook, age 63, returned to her Heavenly Father on February 10, 2016. She passed suddenly in her home in Price, UT. She was born May 24, 1952 in St. Anthony, ID to Robert Dean and Carol Wilding Orme. She attended Ricks College and BYU and received Bachelors Degrees in Secondary Education and Business. While attending college, she met her eternal sweetheart, Barry Paul Cook. They were married on December 28, 1974 in the Provo Temple and were sealed together for time and all eternity. They were blessed with four wonderful children. Julee was a devoted wife and mother with a love for many people and many things. She loved to serve. She has been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and has served faithfully in many callings. She loved doing humanitarian projects with Barry all over the world in developing countries. Julee was very creative and loved to use her talents through many crafting activities. She loved to travel and visit new places. She loved visiting her children and grandchildren. Julee worked alongside her husband, Dr. Cook, managing the optometry office.
Survivors include her husband Dr. Barry Paul Cook of Price, children Brent Paul (Kristi) Cook of Lehi, Mark Robert (Lara) Cook of Boulder City, NV,
Diane (Jaren) Patterick of Herriman, Christine (Scott) Roper of Layton and 12 grandchildren. Julee is also survived by her mother Carol Orme of St. Anthony, ID and her siblings Val Dean (Nancy) Orme of Rigby, ID, Karen (Bryan) Ostermiller of Fruit Heights, and Todd W. (Jennie) Orme of Smithfield. She is preceded by her father Robert Dean Orme.
A visitation will be held Monday, February 15, 2016 from 5-7 pm at Fausett Mortuary in Price. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Price North Stake Center (449 N 100 E) at 11:00 am. There will be a viewing an hour prior to services at the church. Interment will follow in the Price City Cemetery. Funeral services are provided by Fausett Mortuary in Price.
