Overnight fog and frigid temperatures decorated Carbon County with a glittering coat of hoarfrost Friday morning. Above, trees in Price Washington Park were among many that wore their frost well into the morning. Left, a closeup shot of a car windshield shows the small-scale hexagonal symmetry of countless ice crystals. In addition to the static display, a breeze wafted some crystals aloft, where they sparkled as they floated in the air.
