Richard Shaw retired as publisher of the Sun Advocate and Emery County Progress and Jenni Fasselin succeeded him in that position. Both had worked their way up the ranks. Shaw began as a general assignment reporter and community editor before earning the top spot and Fasselin started in advertising sales and then was promoted to sales manager, where she served for 16 years.
