Scofield Reservoir on the west side of the county and Grassy Trail on the east reached dangerously low levels because of several years of light rain and snowfall. East Carbon imposed outdoor watering restrictions and irrigators were put on short rations out of Scofield.
However, a wet spring and summer rainfall avoided a potentially disastrous situation.
