PRICE,UTAH- Jan Johnson Loveland, 51, tragically passed away in a car accident in Price on Friday, December 18, 2015.
She was born in Price, Utah to Step and Regina Craig Johnson on November 3, 1964. She was the youngest of 5, and was a daddy’s girl from the very start. She attended schools in Price, and set out to make each day better than the last. She was always making friends with everyone. She married her high school sweetheart, David Loveland, April 13, 1984 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Jan received her Bachelor’s Degree from Utah State University, and they settled in Orem and raised 5 sons, Stephen, Caleb, Seth, Samuel and Joshua. Lots of happy hours were spent at ball games. She always said you could tell that they were a sporting family by the care the lawn didn’t get during the summer. Besides cheering for her boys and their friends, she loved making jewelry, scrapbooking and more cheering for her boy’s ball teams. She used her teaching degree with her children, spending many hours teaching them the wonders of the world, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and how to lay down the perfect bunt. Her biggest thrills were spending time with family whether at the ball park, family cabin or getting a refill at Maverick. She counted her blessings double fold because of her granddaughter, Haisley Belle.
Survived by her husband, David Loveland; their sons, Stephen 29 (Krystal), Caleb 26, Seth 23, Samuel 18, Joshua 12; sisters; Debbie (Lenny) Pagano, Joy (Steve) Bracken; brothers; Stephen (Beth) Johnson, Jeff (Lylis) Johnson; granddaughter, Haisley Belle; and many loving nieces and nephews
Preceded in death by her mother and father, Regina and Edgar (Step) Johnson.
