This week’s Joy Global athlete of the week is Pinnacle Canyon Academy basketball player Noah Mascarenas.
Mascarenas, a senior, led his team to a win last Wednesday Dec. 9 over Altamont high school. he scored a team-high 19 points and went 11-13 at the free throw line.
On Friday, the Panthers unfortunately suffered a loss, but Mascarenas tallied three points and six rebounds in the game.
The Panthers will continue their road trip with a game against Tabiona on Friday before playing at home against Manila on Dec. 29 at 3:30 p.m.
