WELLINGTON- Our sweet, precious and loving son, brother and father, Matthew “Tiny” Jay Draper, 43, was called home to his father in heaven on November 20, 2015.
He was born April 27, 1972 in Price, Utah to Paul and Patsy Willson Draper. Married Laura V. Sutton in Tooele, Utah; they later divorced.
Matt will be so dearly missed by his family and friends. Matt always did “things big” and he will be remembered for his loving ways, work ethics and huge heart. He was a truck driver for many years while living in Arizona and as a coal miner for the last 9 years. Matt was a long wall maintenance foreman who was known for his skills and outstanding knowledge of everything. He was loved and admired by all who knew him.
Survived by his three children, Cheyenne Dawn Draper, Dakota Jay Draper, and Bailey Montana Draper, granddaughter, Sophia Venon Draper, all of Phoenix, Arizona; mother and step-father, Ed and Pat Christie, Orangeville; father, Paul Draper, Wellington; loving sister, Robyn (Rick) Kubelt, Wisconsin; brother, Blake (Rikki) Draper, Wellington; nieces and nephews, Jace, Cody, Jamie, and Rachel. He will be dearly missed by his many cousins, aunts, uncles, and numerous amazing friends.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Rosie and Verdis Draper and Alma (Lloyd) Willson; aunts, Barbara and Grace.
Graveside service, Friday, November 27, 2015, 11:00 a.m. Wellington City Cemetery.
