Lorraine Falsone

PRICE- Lorraine Hill Falsone, age 90, passed away Thursday June 4, 2015 in Price, Utah. Lorraine was loved by all who knew her. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a master joke teller.
She was born April 8,1925 in Price, Utah to William and Jennie O’Berto Hill. Her mother passed away shortly after her birth and Lorraine was raised by Katherine Bottino, her mother.
On December 1, 1951 Lorraine married the love of her life Sam Falsone at Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Helper, Utah.
Lorraine graduated from Carbon High School class of 1943 and then attended the Holy Cross School of Nursing & graduated with her Registered Nursing degree. After graduation Lorraine took her first nursing position at a hospital in Sitka, Alaska, where she worked for 2 years. She later moved back to Price where she worked at Carbon County Hospital and spent the last 20 years of her nursing career at the South Eastern Utah Health Department. Her nursing career was over 40 years.
Lorraine enjoyed spending holidays with her family, going on picnics & especially having coffee & conversations with friends & family. She was an avid member of the American Cancer Society/Relay for Life, Utah Nursing Association & Utah Girl Scouts.

She is survived by her husband Sam; children, Sam Falsone, Lori Falsone-Laws; two brothers; many grand children, great grand children, nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Pete (Wilma), Jack and Hank.
Funeral Mass, Wednesday, June 10, 2015, 10:00 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church.
Vigil service, Tuesday evening, 7:00 p.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Family will receive friends Tuesday and Wednesday one hour prior to service at the church.
