Helen Mae Shaw Shipp

LAS VEGAS, NEV. – Helen Mae Shaw Shipp passed away March 10, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nev.
Helen was born Feb. 12 1928 in Price to Ervin and Marva Horsley Shaw. She married Darel Behunin, July 1 1946, they were later divorced. She married
Clifford Shipp Aug. 7 1974 in Las Vegas, Nev. They made Las Vegas their home and she has lived there for the past 41 years.
In her early life she became a nurse, and worked in the Price City Hospital for many years.
She loved to garden. She joined the Las Vegas Iris Society and won many competitions. She also belonged to the Las Vegas Miniature doll house club. Here she was able to let the little girl in her self come out and play. She filled her home with many tiny houses, people, pets, gardens, and even stores for them to shop in. She went on cruises where she met lots of people who loved to build miniature’s.
Helen will be missed by her family and many friends, She is survived by two son’s Darel A.Behunin,(Marylin) of Ferron, David L. Behunin (Tim) of San Diego, Calilf. and one daughter Mila Andersen ( Roger) of Las Vegas, Nev.. One brother Ernal Shaw (Shanna) of Colorado, and many grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one brother.
Services will be held March 16, 2015, Palm Mortuary presiding, Interment in Palm Northwest Cemetery, Las Vegas, Nev.
