Carbon High Head Coach Ted Bianco and the Lady Dinos’ basketball team have never been one to shy away from playing a tough opponent, at home or on the road.
With five games still on the schedule before entering Region 12 play, there is still much left to be done.
Since starting 4-0, the Lady Dinos have gone 1-3 since then including a three-game tournament in Grand Junction, Colo.
The Lady Dinos traveled to play Uintah on Wednesday, Dec. 17. They will travel to play an 4A Salem Hills, who are currently 8-1, on Friday evening at 7 p.m.
Carbon will return home to host 3A power Snow Canyon on Saturday, Dec. 20 at 2:30 p.m. After a holiday break, the team will then travel to play rival Emery High on Tuesday, Dec. 30.
Their final two non-region games come against Fruita (Colo.) at home on Jan. 6, 2015 and a rematch with Juan Diego, who the Lady Dinos beat in the 3A playoffs last season, on the road on Jan. 8, 2015.
Carbon will open Region 12 play against North Sanpete on the road on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015.
