CHS softball team hope to gain momentum with home games

By Sun Advocate

After opening the season 4-0 in what is considered to be one of the best starts in school history, the Carbon High softball team has been stuck in a bit of a rut.
In two games on the road last week, the Lady Dinos fell to Union 6-3 on Tuesday, March 25 and lost to Region 12 opponent Juab 11-6 on Friday, March 28.
Since defeating Grand 14-3 during a game at the Snow Canyon Spring Tournament on March 14, the Lady Dinos have lost six of their last seven games. Their only win during that stretch came in a big 17-6 home win over Richfield to pick up their first region victory of the season.
The Lady Dinos will travel to Payson on Tuesday, April 1 for another region game before returning home for three games starting on April 4 when they host North Sanpete at 3:30 p.m.
