The Carbon Elite football team will hit the road for a game this weekend after picking up a close win at home last weekend.
Carbon Elite, a team comprised of 6th and 7th graders in the area, will travel to Vernal for a game against the Vernal All-Stars on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m.
The Elite defeated the Moab Spartans 7-0 on Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Carbon High School football field. The Carbon team picked up the close win thanks to a strong defensive performance, a running game powered by Collin Lewis and Caleb Sanderson and a 32-yard touchdown pass from Austin Woodhouse to Daniel Vega.
