BENCHES POND: (December 17) We had received reports that there were 8 to 12 inches of ice, though the recent weather may have changed thickness and stability. Fishing is good for 8- to 9-inch rainbow trout. You can only access the shoreline by snow machine.
BOULGER RESERVOIR: (December 17) Fishing is good for pan-sized rainbow trout. One angler reported 2 to six inchesesf ice on Dec. 13. You can only access the reservoir by snow machine.
CARBON COUNTY COMMUNITY FISHING POND: (December 21) The pond is frozen, but we haven’t received any reports on ice thickness or angler success.
CLEVELAND RESERVOIR: (December 21) The reservoir has iced over, but we haven’t had any reports on ice thickness.
ELECTRIC LAKE: (December 21) As of Dec. 14, the lake was open water with some ice forming around the edges.
FAIRVIEW LAKES: (December 17) Both of the lakes are iced over, but we don’t have any reports on ice thickness or safety. Use caution.
FERRON CREEK: (December 21) The creek has iced over, but you’ll need a snow machine to access the water.
FERRON RESERVOIR: (December 21) The reservoir has frozen, but you’ll need a snow machine to access the water.
GIGLIOTTI POND: (December 21) The pond has frozen, but we haven’t had any reports on ice thickness.
GOOSEBERRY RESERVOIR: (December 21) The reservoir has frozen, but we haven’t had any reports on fishing or ice thickness.
GRASSY LAKE: (December 21) The lake is frozen, but we haven’t had any reports on fishing or ice thickness.
HUNTINGTON CREEK: (December 21) There haven’t been any fish in the creek since the Seeley Fire. The creek may not be stocked until the tributaries stabilize and stop draining ash into the creek.
HUNTINGTON GAME FARM POND: (December 21) The pond is frozen, but we haven’t had any reports on fishing or ice thickness.
HUNTINGTON NORTH RESERVOIR: (December 21) The reservoir had open water on Dec. 14, but we haven’t heard any reports since then.
HUNTINGTON RESERVOIR: (December 21) The reservoir is frozen, but we haven’t had any reports on fishing or ice thickness.
JOES VALLEY RESERVOIR: (December 21) On Dec. 14, the reservoir was open water. There are not very many angler fishing the reservoir.
LOWER FISH CREEK: (December 21) The creek banks have frozen. We haven’t had any recent fishing reports. Expect fair fishing.
LOWER GREEN RIVER: (December 21) The river is open water. We haven’t had any recent fishing reports. Expect fair fishing.
MILLER FLAT RESERVOIR: (December 21) The reservoir is frozen, but we haven’t had any reports on fishing or ice thickness.
MILLSITE RESERVOIR & STATE PARK: (December 17) As of Dec. 13, the reservoir was ice-free. Fly anglers Tom Ogden and Perry Bunderson fished from kick boats with size 6 to 8 wooly buggers and leech patterns and caught four splake and 53 rainbows. Most of the fish were caught in 8 to 15 feet of water and ranged in size from 11 to 19 inches, with the majority falling in the 11- to 13-inch size class.
PETES HOLE: (December 21) The lake is frozen, but we haven’t had any reports on fishing or ice thickness. You’ll need a snow machine to access the water.
POTTERS PONDS: (December 21) The ponds are frozen, but we haven’t had any reports on fishing or ice thickness.
RIGHT FORK OF HUNTINGTON CREEK: (December 21) There haven’t been any fish in the creek since the Seeley Fire.
SCOFIELD RESERVOIR: (December 21) The reservoir has frozen, but the ice thinkness varies depending on where you check. The ice is likely dangerous toward the middle of the reservoir. Ice fishing is good with a variety of tackle. Anglers are catching a lot of smaller trout in the dam cove.
SOUP BOWL: (December 21) The pond is frozen, but you’ll need a snow machine to access the water. We haven’t had any recent fishing reports. Expect slow fishing.
STRAIGHT CANYON CREEK: (December 21) Conditions are icy and dangerous. We recommend that you don’t attempt to access the creek or fish from the bank.
WILLOW LAKE: (December 21) The lake has iced over, but we haven’t had any reports on fishing or ice thickness.
WRIGLEY SPRINGS RESERVOIR: (December 21) The reservoir is frozen, but we haven’t had any reports on fishing or ice thickness.
