SPRING GLEN – Our wonderful mother, grandmother and dear friend, Rosemary Limone Topolovec passed away unexpectedly at her home on July 14, 2012 at the age of 84.
She was born Feb. 10, 1928 in Helper to Joseph and Mary Pauly Limone.
Married Albun Topolovec, July 31, 1948 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Helper. He died Feb. 2, 1976
Rosemary was a devoted member of St. Anthony Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society, the Sewing Circle and Woman of the Year. She worked many years on the funeral dinner and carnival committees where her generosity was greatly appreciated. She was a member of Stella D’America Italian Lodge # 77 and the Western Slavonic Association.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, fancy work, cooking and baking for her family. Rosemary loved the holidays, birthdays, family get-togethers and she was always finding special ways to care for others. She loved working in her yard and caring for her chickens and kitty. She will be dearly missed by all and her acts of kindness will be cherished forever.
Survived by her children, Paulette (Ron) Regruto, Helper, Ken (Lynna) Topolovec, Spring Glen, Michael (Lucy) Topolovec, Alpine, Anna (Michael) Martinez, Spring Glen; grandchildren, Michelle (Casey) Huff, Stephen (Sandi) Regruto, Jennee Martinez, Katee Martinez, Robert Topolovec; many loving nieces, nephews and a community of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Albun; sisters, Rena (George) Higginson, Josephine (John) Barra; brothers, Paul Limone and John (Enis) Limone.
Funeral Mass, Thursday, July 19, 2012, 10 a.m., St. Anthony Catholic Church in Helper.
Vigil service, Wednesday evening 7 p.m. Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Wednesday and Thursday one hour prior to service. Committal service, Mt. View Cemetery. In remembrance of Rosemary, the family suggests contributions to St. Anthony Catholic Church, (5 South Main, Helper, 84526).
