Four Carbon High seniors named to All-Region football teams

2nd Team All-Region 12 players
Nick Haycock, a senior captain, receiver and linebacker. Haycock’s 81 yard touchdown reception with two minutes left in the game sealed the deal against Monticello on opening night and help start a four-game winning streak for the Dinos.
Offensively Nick had 46 receptions for 585 yards and five touchdowns. Defensively, Nick recorded 36 tackles, two interceptions and a defensive touchdown.
Daulton Nelson, a senior captain, running back and linebacker. When the team needed a yard, Daulton would get five. Nelson was a workhorse from the running back position rushing the ball 117 times for 438 yards and five touchdowns. He also had 10 receptions for 68 yards. From the linebacker position, Daulton recorded 56 tackles and 10 sacks and was also one of the most efficient long snappers in the state.
1st Team All-Region 12 players
Dillon Manzanares, a senior captain, linebacker, running back and offensive lineman.
Manzanares was the heart of the Dino defense who led the team with 97 tackles and also recorded four sacks, one interception and a defensive touchdown.
Offensively, Manzanares recorded 47 yards rushing and 39 yards receiving after moving from the offensive line to a running back late in the season.
Tanner Gagnon, a senior captain, receiver, defensive end and kicker. Tanner made some big plays from the defensive end position and ended the season with 58 tackles, 10 sacks, a fumble recovery and a defensive touchdown.
Offensively, Gagnon had 10 receptions for 245 yards and three touchdowns. He rushed the ball 24 times for 71 yards. Gagnon was a leader on special teams as a punter and kicker. He made some key field goals and PAT’s to help secure some Dino victories.
