Playing two opponents in one night, the Pinnacle High Panthers took down the competition like old pros on their way to starting the season 2-0.
This is the volleyball teams first year playing in the Utah School Sports Alliance and they are hoping to have a great year. The teams will often play small three team tournaments to cut down on expenses. During the night of Sept. 12 the Pinnacle girls downed Paradigm in straight sets before edging out Maesar Academy in a three set thriller.
In addition to USSA, Pinnacle will also participate in the local Castle Valley Athletic Association.
