The Carbon County Healthy Family Coalition will be holding its fourth annual Family Night on Sept. 25 at Carbon High School.
The event is an outgrowth of a community based needs assessment done a few years ago. The original group was formed to address the drug problem in the area, and as they met they found that the problem was bigger than just drugs. The emphasis soon became education about the needs and services available in the community.
This year’s theme will be Only You Can Stop You From Succeeding. All community members are invited, to learn about skills to use with kids, family dynamics and just to get to know each other.
The keynote speaker will be Ben Glen and the activities will start at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served to those in attendance.
