Memorial Day services – Local veteran groups will conduct ceremonies honoring American military service members on May 26. The schedule includes:

Independent Order of Foresters – will host a rest stop May 23 to May 26 at Tucker for motorists traveling on U.S. Highway 6 during the Memorial Day weekend.
Last year, 28 volunteers logged 1,762 hours and served refreshments to 5,200 travelers from 47 states and 19 countries.

Food handlers classes – Two-hour sessions are scheduled June 18 at 9 a.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the health department in Price.

Learn to speak, understand English – Small group sessions are scheduled Tuesday and Thursday at 6 p.m. at the LDS Church located at 150 South 500 East in Price.
Immunization clinic hours – Clinics are scheduled at Southeastern Utah Health District Monday through Thursday from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Free legal clinics – Utah Legal Services has scheduled free clinics the second and fourth Monday of the month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 7th District Court complex, located at 149 East 100 South in Price.

Carbon County Family Support and Children’s Justice Center – offers crisis care for families with children from infants to 11 years old.
