There is no question the decision to enforce the ordinance on covered loads heading to the Carbon County Landfill was the right decision to clean up Carbon County.
By cleaning up Airport Road every road in the county will benefit. Most other counties in Utah have a similar ordinance.
There are many different reasons for having clean roads, I believe safety is the most important. Second might be the image of our comunity in the eyes of others.
I believe and would hope that most of you as well believe that covering our loads while taking them to the dump is a good common sense thing to do.
