Sean Gunderson
PRICE/SALT LAKE CITY – Eric Sean Gunderson, age 28, returned home on March 24, 2008.
He was born Jan. 17, 1980 in Price to James D. and Marlene Richardson Gunderson. On Feb. 3, 2007, he married Kami Christensen in Las Vegas, Nev.
Sean was a longtime resident of Carbon County and a graduate of Carbon High School Class of 1998.
He was a talented snowboarder and was always excited when the first snow fell.
He loved the outdoors and, when summer rolled around, he was ready to head up into the mountains and do some camping and fishing. He loved to cook and was a master of the grill.
Sean had the greatest sense of humor and he could make anyone laugh. He had a big but tender heart and a personality all his own.
He is survived by his parents, Jim and Marlene Gunderson; wife, Kami; brother, David; sister, Alison; grandmother, Nedra Richardson; father- and mother-in-law, Ray and Connie Christensen; brothers-in-law, Todd, Luke, Colby and Jeb (Jaime); and his dog, Reece. Sean also leaves behind his nieces, Alex, BreAnn, Danielle and his baby girl, Kamryn; nephews, Jaren, Trevor, Dax, Cal and his little buddy, Austin. Sean was preceded in death by his Grandma and Grandpa Gunderson; Grandpa Richardson; and cousin, Sue.
Funeral service Friday, March 28, 11 a.m., Carbonville LDS Ward, located at 4000 North 1900 West in Spring Glen. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church Friday one hour prior to service. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery.
Lylas Allridge Wycherley
PRICE/AMERICAN FORK – Lylas Allridge Wycherley passed away March 24, 2008 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Sept. 4, 1919 in Ferron to Raymond and Pearl Larsen Allridge. She married Edwin M. Wycherley on Sept. 21, 1940 in Price. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. She was a devoted temple worker in the Provo and Mt. Timpanogos LDS Temples for 17 years.
She was a Daughter of the Utah Pioneers.
Survived by one daughter and two sons, Vicki (Fred) Booth, Samuel K. (Jayleen S.), Edwin M. (Lynda); 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Norma Shumway, Juanita Allen, Marjorie Salisbury; and brother, Keith Allridge. Preceded in death by her husband, Edwin (Ted); son, Pete; sisters, Merle Kartchner and Helen Allridge; brother, Lee Allridge; and great-granddaughter, Micole Waldron.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 28, at 10 a.m. at the American Fork 29th LDS Ward, 673 East 300 North. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 North, American Fork and Friday at the church from 9 to 9:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment, Price City Cemetery at 3 p.m.

Connie Ann Ware
ORANGEVILLE- Connie Ann Ware, age 61, passed away on March 25, 2008 in Ferron.
She was born on March 9, 1947 in Price to Kenneth Cyril and Olive Esther Leslie Wilberg. Connie married Chris Michael Ware on June 19, 1965 in Castle Dale. Their marriage was solemnized on Nov. 6, 1982 in the Provo LDS Temple.
Connie was a shy, loving person. She was a perfect model to those who knew her.
She enjoyed four-wheeling and gardening. She was also very talented with the arts, standing out in music, crocheting, photography and scrapbooking.
Connie was very unselfish in every way imaginable. She had a heart of gold.
Kids were Connie’s inspiration to life. She worked at the school as a special education aide and no one will ever know what every child meant to her.
Connie was a great wife, mother, grandmother and Mrs. Ware to her students. She will be loved forever.
Connie is survived by her husband, Chris M. Ware; four children: Christian (David) James, Courtney (Cori) Ware, Cymberly (Matthew) Erni and Casey (Connie Jean) Ware; six grandchildren, Misty Lee Ann Allen, Whitney Lynn Allen, Makita Franklin Erni, Braxton Ken Ware and Kambree Hope Ware, Brennen Chris Ware; one sister, VaLynn (Doug) Blume; and one brother, Leslie (Linda) Wilberg. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Colton Andrew Ware.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 29, at 11 a.m. at the Orangeville 2nd LDS Ward Chapel. There will be a viewing on Friday, March 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale, 720 North Center Street, and on Saturday one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in the Orangeville City Cemetery.
Rev. Henry J. Piacitelli
PRICE/ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Father Henry Piacitelli, our beloved brother, uncle, cousin and friend, died March 6, 2008 in St. Louis, Mo.
He was born July 5, 1918 in Sunnyside, loving son of John and Helen Piacitelli.
He grew up in Price, attending Price Central School and then Notre Dame de Lourdes School as one of its first students.
He was one of the 12 members of the famous Notre Dame School Marching Band.
He attended Carbon High School before entering St. Vincent’s College, the Vincentian Fathers’ minor seminary for the Congregation of the Mission, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., in 1935.
Fr. Henry had a career of dedication and service in his 62 years of ministries as a priest. Ordained in 1945 at St. Mary’s Seminary in Perryville, Mo., he served in a variety of missions throughout the Midwest Province of his order, including formation and education of the clergy, hospital ministry and clinical pastoral care and education.
In 1982, he transferred to Salt Lake City and took up a position in hospital ministry for the Diocese of Salt Lake City as a Chaplain for LDS, St. Mark’s, Primary Children’s and Shriners hospitals. He served on ethics committees at LDS and Primary Children’s hospitals.
Fr. Henry served in the Diocese of Salt Lake City for 17 years until he retired in 1999 and returned to his Vincentian Family in St. Louis, Mo.
He is survived by his brother, John Piacitelli, Tacoma, Wash., sisters, Helen Jean Smith of Salt Lake City and Nora Dalpiaz of Helper; and many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Edward Piacitelli; sisters, Mildred Kasparec, Florence Piacitelli and Adeline LeBar.
Funeral Mass was celebrated March 10 at St. Catherine Laboure Church in St. Louis, Mo., with burial at Resurrection Cemetery.

Rose Grako
PRICE – Rose Angotti Grako, age 84, passed away March 24, 2008 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo.
She was born Jan. 18, 1924 in Mohrland to Salvatore “Sam” and Catherine Rose Guzzo Angotti. Married Louis F. Grako Nov. 23, 1946 in Price. He passed away on July 19, 1972.
Rose was a member of the Notre Dame De Lourdes Catholic Church in Price.
One of her greatest passions was golf, at which she excelled.
She was a member of the Carbon Country Club and the Ladies Golf Association.
She was a lifetime resident of Carbon County, where she was well-known for her humor and Italian spaghetti sauce.
Her grandkids always said that there was never a dull moment around their “Nana.”
Nothing more would brighten up her day than to see her two great-granddaughters, Anistyn and Millie Rose.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Louis ( Denise) Grako, Grand Junction Colo.; Gary (Bobbie) Grako, Price; Gina (Todd) Bowen, Orem; two sisters and one brother, Mary Paloni, Angelina (George) Farlaino and John (Mary) Angotti, all of Price; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Louis F. Grako; brother, Tony Angotti (World War II); sister, Annie Angotti Oliveto; grandson, Jeffrey L. Grako.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday March 28, 10 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Vigil service Thursday evening, 7 p.m., at the church. Donald Otis Fuhr
PRICE – Donald Fuhr, age 72, died March 22, 2008 in Price.He was born Feb. 28, 1936 to Otis V. Fuhr and Kathleen Nezvich in Gary, Ind.
