According to LaFontaine, the city sold out of the first 100 key cards that were allotted to the facility. “We hoped to sell 50 memberships that first day,” said LaFontaine. “We surpassed that and then some, we sold out every card they gave us.” LaFontaine reported that the city should have more cards by Feb. 20 and those seeking membership to the 24\7 facility can contact East Carbon City Hall.
