Carbon swimmers pull out short handed win

By Sun Advocate

The Carbon Dinos swim team pulled out another win at South Summit even after attending the meet short handed, according to coach Stew Foster.
Team leader Travis Hobbs took home second with a personal best score of 399.20. Foster reported that his score was 35 points above anything he had done before. Following close behind was Brett Wells with another personal best at 342.30.
“Both boys had some exceptionally good dives at the meet,” said Foster.
Nathan Hepworth placed ninth and also posted a personal best score. Hepworth failed his last dive, which he needed to have a clean dive competition.
According to Foster, Kenny Hobbs competed in the six dive competition and placed second.
The Dinos next meet will take place Dec. 15 at Park City.
